YESS (Young Entrepreneurship Startup School) aims at creating the first Cross-Border (CB) incubator within the Regions of Apulia, Achaia, Ionian Islands and Epirus. The overall objective of the project is the promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit and the incubation of new companies, encouraging the economic development of the regions involved and the exchange of knowledge and competences between partners and stakeholders. The specific objective consists in the creation and the development of a CB incubator for innovative start-ups in the fields of: tourism, design, blue growth, social innovation and e-health.
Startups
YESS Virtual Incubator is open to guide young entrepreneurs build a successful start-up, thereby allowing the start-ups founders to focus on the 5 key areas, refining their products/services, focusing on business development, sales and other important non-technical aspects.
Mentor
Mentors are involved on the incubation services emphasizing on training and mentoring, as opposed to access to finance or networking. They address the challenges entrepreneurs face developing their entrepreneurial capacities to be able to get their business off the ground.
Stakeholders
We offer a unique model which enables entrepreneurs to start a company by investing in their startup and help build the technical product. As an incubator, we help you and make sure that the startup is worthy of investment. We invest in people with passion, high-impact, far-reaching ideas and an undying passion to pursue their dreams.
The virtual incubator will provide most of its services through a virtual environment, which will foster new business ideas, encouraging the co-design and cooperation within students, researchers, startuppers and entrepreneurs, maximizing the benefits of the Web 2.0 technologies and using an open access innovation approach. With this goal, a heterogeneous and complementary partner consortium has been created by involving a university specialized in technology and management , a research centre specialized in vocational and high professional training , an association of enterprises, an NGO, member of AI-BAN, representing citizens and a university specialized in business.
